Shaping a Green Environment
At CaesarStone, caring about environmental issues is a top priority for all of our team who are committed to helping create a cleaner, safer and better quality environment. We are proud to be the world’s first quartz surface company to carry the ISO 14001 environmental standard for environmental protection in industry. This means that everything we do – inside and outside of our plant – is governed by a corporate environmental policy. Our code of ethics begins with safety standards that protect all of our workers, and continues with ecologically friendly production processes. The effect spreads to our customers who benefit from manufacture ensuring products that require almost no detergents.
Quality Comes First
Our uncompromising emphasis on product quality is evident by the global demand that drives our constantly growing share of world markets. In addition to our own stringent quality control systems, we ensure that CaesarStone products and plant procedures gain approval from the International Quality Network. This guarantees that our operation and quality management is completely in accordance with strict ISO 9001: 2000 procedures.
Committed to Industry Health Standards
CaesarStone surfaces are non-porous and free of mold and bacteria due to the use of quartz as a key ingredient. Endorsed by the National Health and Safety Foundation (NSF) in accordance with international NSF 51 sanitary standards, CaesarStone surfaces are qualified for installation in hospitals, restaurants, hotels and more.
Focused on Employee Safety
We are committed to the safety of workers, partners and customers, and this has driven us to comply with the world’s most demanding standards and codes. We are currently pending receipt of OHSAS 18001 International, the globe’s most respected safety standard.
Maintaining Air Quality
All CaesarStone products are compliant with GREENGUARD standard. The American GEI (GREENGUARD Environmental Institute) certification ensures that CaesarStone surfaces are safe for the environment and do not release harmful substances into the air. GEI establishes acceptable indoor air standards for products, environments, and buildings in order to improve public health and quality of life through programs that improve indoor air.
